Born and raised in Bozeman, Montana, Marina Adelmann is currently studying photography at Montana State University. She primarily works in analog photography. Her work focuses on low light and night photography, with a strong interest in experimentation and alternative processes — recording light that is hundreds, if not thousands, of years old.

"There is something inspiring about how temporary everything is. Each moment ends just as a new stream of light reveals itself to us. We get to stand within a singular moment, only for a moment, wanting to remember, and record, it as we experience time.

Adelmann also works as a photographer for The Exponent, Montana State University's student newspaper.
